0

This article contains information on the National Student Financial Aid Scheme (NSFAS) 2022 allowance updates for Tshwane University of Technology (TUT) students. It contains the schedule, categories of people to receive the allowances and the method of payment.

We have noted the appeals from student leaders regarding the release of the 2022 NSFAS allowances. NSFAS had advised the University that they would only pay the allowances from April 2022. We have taken into consideration the pressing needs of our students, as such the University has made the decision to release student allowances.

We are pleased to announce that the release of NSFAS allowances will commence from the week of 7 March 2022.

It is important to note that the National Student Funding Aid Scheme policy stipulates that all qualifying students must be given their allowances as per the eligibility criteria document.
