NSFAS Allowance & Payment Dates for TUT Students – 2025
This article contains information on the National Student Financial Aid Scheme (NSFAS) 2025 allowance updates for Tshwane University of Technology (TUT) students. It contains the schedule, categories of people to receive the allowances and the method of payment.
It is important to note that the National Student Funding Aid Scheme policy stipulates that all qualifying students must be given their allowances as per the eligibility criteria document.
NSFAS ALLOWANCE AND PAYMENTS DATES FOR TUT STUDENTS
Please take note of the following important information on allowances:
First Semester:
| Cycle 1 – All Campuses | Thursday | 06 February 2025 |
| Cycle 2 – All Campuses | Monday | 03 March 2025 |
| Cycle 3 – All Campuses | Tuesday | 01 April 2025 |
| Cycle 4 – All Campuses | Monday | 05 May 2025 |
| Cycle 5 – All Campuses | Monday | 02 June 2025 |
Second Semester: (see notes below regarding NSFAS)
| Cycle 6 – All Campuses | Monday | 07 July 2025 |
| Cycle 7 – All Campuses | Monday | 04 August 2025 |
| Cycle 8 – All Campuses | Monday | 01 September 2025 |
| Cycle 9 – All Campuses | Monday | 06 October 2025 |

NB – NSFAS has indicated that they will take over allowance payments from 2nd semester
