Every year, Lenmed publishes vacant positions for interested and qualified South African citizens to apply for. This year is no exception. Therefore, the jobs are listed below, together with their requirements, roles, salaries, and qualifications.

LENMED CAREER (VACANT) POSITIONS, ROLES, REQUIREMENTS, AND QUALIFICATIONS 

Applications are invited from qualified individuals for the positions shown below.

1. Human Resources Officer

Role Summary:

  • We are looking for a case manager to enhance the quality of patient management, maximise satisfaction, and promote cost effectiveness. The successful candidate will be accountable for the full patient care cycle and is expected to assess, plan, implement, monitor, and evaluate actions required to meet the client’s health and human services needs.

Inherent Requirements:

  • A three-year Degree in Human Resources Management or an equivalent
  • NQF level 7 qualification
  • Minimum 3–5 years of human Generalist experience operating as a transformation or change agent
  • Computer proficiency in Microsoft Office suite
  • SAP and Kronos time and attendance experience will be an advantage

2. Enrolled Nurse—Theatre OR

Role Summary:

  • The enrolled nurse is responsible for the direct and/or indirect nursing care of a patient or group of patients and will function under the direct and/or indirect supervision of the registered nurse and unit manager.

Inherent Requirements:

  • Registration with the South African Nursing Council as an Enrolled Nurse
  • Compliance with the SANC code for an Enrolled Nurse and all applicable health care legislation
  • Relevant Two Year experience in the nursing discipline would be an advantage.
  • Computer Literacy
  • Flexible in working hours and shifts

HOW TO APPLY FOR LENMED JOBS

Please read the instructions carefully before applying.

  1. A position becomes vacant at Lenmed: A position becomes available, which Lenmed decides to fill either internally or externally.
  2. The position is advertised: The job is advertised on the Lenmed careers portal, internal notice boards. A closing date is also indicated on the advertisement.
  3. A shortlist is created: Applicants who meet the minimum requirements are shortlisted by HR and the line manager. Depending on the number of shortlisted candidates, applicants may be required to do assessments or be invited for an interview.
  4. Shortlisted applicants are invited to an interview. The line manager, team member, and HR are present at the interview. Depending on the outcome of the interviews, it’s possible to select the best applicants based on their interview and CV.  If there is a “tie” between candidates, further interviews or assessments can be requested.
  5. The position is filled. The best candidate for the job is selected. We make an offer. The applicant then either accepts or declines the offer.
