How to Check Unisa Exam Results for 2026

This article presents the Unisa Examination Results guide for the 2026 academic year. It covers how to access your results, key release timelines, and what to do after results are published.

Examination results will not be provided to any student either verbally or telephonically. Students may obtain their results through the following official channels:

  • myUnisa Portal: Log in to myUnisa using your student number and password. Navigate to “Assessment Admin” and select “Examination Results” to view your results for the completed examination period.
  • myLife Email Account: Once your results are available on myUnisa, an automatic notification is sent to your official Unisa myLife email address. Check your inbox — and your spam/junk folder — regularly during result release periods. Add unisa.ac.za to your trusted senders list to avoid missing notifications.
  • Unisa Student Mobile App: The Unisa mobile application allows you to log in with your student credentials and access your results directly from your smartphone, following the same navigation steps as the web portal.
  • Official Unisa Website: The university posts official announcements and communiqués on its website around each examination period. These announcements confirm exact release dates and any special instructions.

The examination results of a student with any outstanding fees and/or library material will not be published before the outstanding amount has been paid in full or the library material has been returned. However, supplementary examination results will still be published whether there are outstanding fees or library material.

HOW TO CHECK YOUR UNISA EXAMINATION RESULT FOR 2026 ONLINE

Exam results are made available on the following platforms:

  1. myUnisa Portal: Log in at the official Unisa website using your student number and password. Go to “Assessment Admin” and click “Examination Results.”
  2. Email (myLife): Register on myUnisa and ensure your myLife email account is active. Results are automatically sent to this address once they are published.
  3. Unisa Mobile App: Download the official Unisa student app and log in with your student credentials to view results on your mobile device.

  • January / February 2025 — results made available from late February to early March 2026.
  • May / June 2025 — results made available from late June to early July 2026.

Result Enquiry

  • Final examination results will be released as they become available on myUnisa.
  • No results will be released to a candidate before he/she has returned all books borrowed from the University Library and settled any outstanding fees.
  • No results will be given telephonically by academic or administrative members of staff.
  • No timetables for supplementary exams will be made available if fees or library books are owed.
  • Supplementary examination results will still be published even where there are outstanding fees or library material.

The application for re-marking or re-checking is subject to approval by the Registrar or his or her designate, based on the examination rules and regulations. Applications are submitted online through the “Examination Results” tool within the myUnisa portal. Note that re-marking fees apply and are non-refundable if the mark remains the same or decreases.

For students who do not pass a module: You may be eligible for a supplementary examination if your final mark is above the minimum threshold set by your faculty. Eligibility is communicated through your myUnisa account or via official faculty announcements. Supplementary examinations are held during the October/November examination period, with results published in December. If you believe your script was marked incorrectly, you may apply for a re-mark or re-check through myUnisa within the specified deadline after results are released.

NOTE: A device with a web browser and an active connection to the internet is required to access your results on myUnisa.
