• Step 1: Please apply online via the Coastal TVET College Application Portal if you are enrolling in the Undergraduate, Postgraduate, Study Abroad, or Graduate School of Business Exchange Programme. 
• Step 2: If you are a first-time user, you will then be prompted to answer ‘YES’ or ‘NO’ to the required fields  
• Step 3: Kindly accept the rules by ticking the “I Accept Button” and thereafter the “Next” button.
• Step 3: After you are done with the above steps, you will then be taken to the page where you will be required to fill in all the necessary information, like your Personal Details, Nationality, Address Information, disability information, Study Choices, Residential Address, Postal Address, Contact Details, Demographic Details, Next of Kin, Emergency Contact, Current Activities, Employment, Education, Indemnity and Undertaking, make Payment and upload the necessary Documents.    
• Step 4: Complete all the fields and click ‘Next’ at each interval to proceed. 
• Step 5: When you are done, kindly click on the ‘Submit‘ button to get your application submitted. 

2. Acknowledgement of Application    

• You will receive an email confirming the online submission of your application immediately. 
• Within three working days, you should receive formal acknowledgment of your application along with your student number and log-in details.   
• Note that this acknowledgement does not mean you’ve been accepted or admitted to Coastal TVET College.   

3. Upload Supporting Documents    

In order to consider your application, please upload every necessary supporting documents listed below on this article. If the application is incomplete, it may be declined by the college.  

4. Acceptance of Offer    

When we update your application, you will receive an email notification. Please monitor your email account closely for updates. You can also check your status online with the log-in credentials that we will send you after you apply. We are not permitted to disclose your application status telephonically.

5. When do applications open?

• You can start applying online from June every year. Kindly check the COASTAL TVET COLLEGE Application deadline and dates in order not to be left out. 

6. What is the application fee?

• Online applications have a handling fee that is stated during the course of the application.

7. When and where can I apply for bursaries?

• You can go to the COASTAL TVET COLLEGE website for information on bursaries and funding. 

8. Do I have NSFAS? Can you check my NSFAS status, please?

• NSFAS functions on its own; the Coastal TVET College only receives a list of successful applicants and then opens their accounts to register. Please visit the official NSFAS website. 

9. How and where do I apply for NSFAS?

• Applications usually open on September 1. You can apply online by checking out the steps on how to do it here. If you do not have access to online resources, you are more than welcome to visit any tertiary institution that will assist you with applying for NSFAS online. Please make sure you have a valid email address, cell phone number and the required supporting documents ready. 

10. I am having technical difficulties during the online application process; who can I contact?

11. How long does it take to get feedback after applying?

• They aim to reply as soon as possible, but they receive a large number of applications. This is also dependent on the submission of all relevant documentation and the time frame in which you apply. 

12. My ID number already exists on the system; when I want to apply online, who can I contact?

13. For which courses do I qualify?

• You do not adhere to one or all of the following requirements: Specific subject requirements for the degree 
• Capacity limitations: Please note that, owing to specific capacity constraints, the University reserves the right to select candidates for admission to certain fields of study. This means that prospective students who comply with the minimum requirements will not automatically be admitted to the courses in question. Because of capacity limitations and the high demand from students for admission to particular fields of study, students will be selected on the basis of their Grade 12 results for admission to these fields. 

16. How can I update my contact details?

• Prospective applicants (those who have already submitted their applications) can update their contact details on the applications webpage. 
• Log in with your student number and chosen PIN. Click on “Already have a university number” and choose “Update Contact Details on Existing Application.”. The Contact Details page will display, and you can update your details, which will reflect throughout your application. 

17. How can I update my application details?

• Prospective applicants (who have already submitted their applications) can request a change of qualification by submitting a request to the Coastal TVET College Student support services.
