COPPERBELT UNIVERSITY (CBU) 30TH GRADUATION LIST FOR 2021
The Copperbelt University Senate invites the Class of 2020 Academic Graduands to the 30th Graduation Ceremony to be held on Wednesday, 1st December 2021, at 07:30 hours in the Levy Mwanawasa Stadium in Ndola.
The information regarding preparations for the ceremony is detailed below:
Examination Results
The results of the examinations are available from the offices of the respective Deans of Faculties/Schools during working hours.
List of Graduands
The list will be posted as soon as it is approved. Continuously keep on confirming with your Department if you have met the Graduation requirements.
Any potential graduand whose name is not on the list is expected to visit his/her School immediately. All students aspiring to graduate are requested to ensure that they meet the requirements for graduation.
Verification Of Academic Records And Order Of Names
Confirmation of names should be done via the student portals by Friday 15th November, 2021. Queries/ Corrections may be directed to exams@cbu.ac.zm
Clearance & Fees
All Graduands should ensure they have cleared with the University, verified their details, and paid a Certification fee of K250.00 by 19th November 2021.
MODE OF PAYMENT
i) Cash Payment:
Graduands should deposit certification fee using the Student Bill Muster (at any ZANACO Branch) for Undergraduate students and Eco-Bank for Post Graduate students.
Academic Attire
Graduands wishing to hire or purchase the academic dress should contact the Academic Affairs Office. Purchase for Certificate/ Diploma is K800.00; Undergraduate is K1,500.00 ; K1,950.00 for Masters students; and K5,000.00 for PhD students. Hire is K350.00 for Undergraduate and K550.00 for Masters Students.
All payments for gowns to be made through ZANACO Account Number 0110950500186 and the deposit slip should indicate ‘Hire’ or ‘Purchase of Gowns’.
Punctuality & Invitation
Graduating students shall be allowed to invite two (2) guests. The invitation cards should be collected from the Academic Affairs Office from Monday, 22nd November 2021. On the graduation day, all graduands will participate in the graduands’ procession in order of their school at 7.00 a.m.
