ZAMBIA OPEN UNIVERSITY 12TH GRADUATION LIST FOR 2020
The Zambian Open University (ZAOU) wishes to remind all the 2020 graduating students that there will be two (2) graduation ceremonies this year. The first one will be in May 2020, while the second one will be in October. It will hold its 12th Graduation ceremony on Friday, 8th May, 2020. The venue of the graduation ceremony is Newfoundland Campus, Unity Road, off Mumbwa Road, Lusaka West, Lusaka. Graduands are advised to check below for the full list of graduands.
The graduation ceremony will be presided over by the Chancellor and other councils who will award Diplomas and Certificates and confer Degrees.

Examination Results
The results of the examinations are available from the offices of the respective Deans of Faculties/Schools during working hours.
Registration and Fees
All graduating students (including those intending to graduate in absentia), must register for the Graduation ceremony by 17: 00 hours on 17th April, 2020. The Registration will take place at Newfoundland Campus, Unity Road, off Mumbwa Road, Lusaka West.
All graduating students (including those intending to graduate in absentia), must pay the following graduation fees, by 17:00 hours on Friday 17th April, 2020:
- PhD degree : ZMW4, 500.00
- Masters’ degree : ZMW2, 500.00
- Bachelor’s degree : ZMW2, 000.00
- Diploma : ZMW1, 850.00
The full fees must be paid into the Zambian Open University Account Numbers:

- 120710274654015 held at INVESTRUST BANK, Industrial Branch.
- There is a point of sale facility at the Newfoundland Campus, Unity Road (off Mumbwa Road), Lusaka West.
Clearance
Graduating students will be required to clear with the accounts office before 17th April 2020 before registering for graduation at the Lusaka West campus, failure to which they will not be allowed to graduate.
List of Graduands
The list will be posted as soon as it is approved. Continuously keep on confirming with your Department if you have met the Graduation requirements.
Any potential graduand whose name is not on the list is expected to visit his/her School immediately.
Verification Of Academic Records And Order Of Names
Graduands must ensure that all courses taken in their program of study have been graded and passed and that there are no missing courses or grades.
Rehearsals
Rehearsals for all Graduands will take place on Thursday, 7th May, 2020 at the Newfoundland Campus, Lusaka West from 14.00 to 15:30 hours
Punctuality and invitation Card
The invitation cards for Graduands and their guests will be ready for collection from the Office of the Academic Registrar. Two (2) Invitation Cards will be given to each graduating student.
Graduands must take seats by 7.30 am and invited guests are expected to be seated by 8.00 am.
