NMCZ Portal 2026 | portal.gnc.org.zm
This information involves the Nursing and Midwifery Council of Zambia (NMCZ) — formerly the General Nursing Council of Zambia (GNC) — and its official 2026 online portal: portal.gnc.org.zm. It also contains the organization’s contact address and the official website. Kindly check below for more details.
The Nursing and Midwifery Council of Zambia (NMCZ), established under the Nurses and Midwives Act No. 10 of 2019 and the statutory successor to the General Nursing Council of Zambia, has enabled the online Portal for all nurses and midwives practicing or are yet to practice in Zambia to register, get license and make renewals.
This online service portal is for all nurses and midwives of the Zambian public with a valid Zambian identity document, foreign identity document, and a proof of being a nursing or midwifery practitioner or being a student aspiring to be one who would like to register their profile online and obtain their practising certificate.
Notice (2026): Although the council is now legally known as the Nursing and Midwifery Council of Zambia (NMCZ), all core portal services — including login, registration, profile access, and licence renewal — remain hosted on the GNC portal at https://portal.gnc.org.zm. The nmcz.org.zm domain is used for official events and communications only. Always use the GNC portal address for all administrative tasks.
