UNIVERSITY OF LUSAKA 13TH GRADUATION LIST FOR 2023
The University of Lusaka is pleased to invite graduating students of April 2023 to the 13th Graduation Ceremony. The event will be held on Wednesday, 26th, and Thursday, 27th April 2023 at the prestigious Silverest Campus from 08:00 to 12:00 hours. The theme for this year’s ceremony is “The Value of Graduation.”
The Graduation Ceremony will be held on the following days for the respective schools:

- School of Postgraduate Studies
- School of Medicine and Health Sciences
Thursday, 27th April 2023
- School of Business, Economics and Management
- School of Education, Social Sciences and Technology
- School of Law
Examination Results
Graduating students should confirm their names and register to participate in the Graduation Ceremony online through the portal from Wednesday 22nd March to Wednesday, 29th March 2023.
List of Graduands
The list will be posted as soon as it is approved. Continuously keep on confirming with your Department if you have met the graduation requirements.

Verification of Academic Records and Order of Names
All graduands must verify their names and register to participate in the Graduation Ceremony online via the university portal between Wednesday 22nd March and Wednesday, 29th March 2023.
Clearance & Fees
Graduands are expected to fulfill their financial obligations to the University by Friday, 14th April 2023. Please note that all graduands with outstanding balances of fees and unreturned library materials will not be permitted to graduate.
Graduation Certification Fee
All graduands are required to pay a Certification Fee of K550.
Payments
All payments should be made via the University’s Bank Accounts.
Academic Attire
Graduands must procure the authorized academic dress from the University at the following prices:
Category of Academic Dress and Price
- Undergraduate: K 1,800
- Postgraduate: K 2,100
- Doctoral: K 3,500
Gown Collection
Gown collection will take place in Room 12 at the University’s Pioneer Campus in Mass Media from Wednesday, 12th April to Tuesday, 25th April 2023, on the following days and times:
Weekdays: 08:00 – 17:00 hours Saturday: 08:00 – 13:00 hours
Punctuality
Rehearsal Reporting Time
Graduands must report for rehearsal at the University of Lusaka, Silverest Campus at 09:00 hours on Tuesday, 25th April 2023.
Graduation Ceremony Reporting Time
Graduands must assemble at the University’s Silverest Campus at 07:00 hours on Wednesday 26th and Thursday, 27th April 2023, respectively.
Guests at the Graduation Ceremony
Each graduand is allowed to invite two guests to attend the memorable and exciting Graduation Ceremony.
Invitation Cards for Invited Guests
Invitation cards for the graduands’ invited guests will be collected at the time of collecting the gowns.
Photographs
Individual photographs of all graduands who wish to participate in the Graduation Ceremony will be professionally captured in their respective gowns at the University’s Pioneer Campus in Mass Media. Soft copies of the professionally captured photographs with the University emblem embossed will be emailed to respective graduands after the Graduation Ceremony. The photographs will be taken from Wednesday, 12th April to Tuesday, 25th April 2023 at the times indicated for gown collection.
