This article contains information on the University of Lusaka, UNILUS registration process and guidelines for the new and continuing students thereby preparing them for the semester of the 2022/2023 academic year.

The registration is done via the online registration portal, which is a self-help/online system. The system is accessible off-campus for convenience. You don’t have to stand in long queues and don’t have to come to campus. This guide will enable you to process your online registration successfully.
Follow the steps that are provided to make this process an easy and exciting process.

UNILUS REGISTRATION GUIDELINES AND PORTAL

Guidelines

All Undergraduate and Diploma Continuing Students are to note that registration for the Semester, 2022/2023 Academic Year is in progress and would end soon. 

Due to increasing numbers of health cases in Zambia, the University will not allow physical semester registration for new and returning students. As such, semester registration will have to be done online.

Students are, therefore, advised to do the following In order to stay safe:

• Pay fees online;
• Do semester registration online by dicking the Tab: ‘Online Registration’ on the University’s Website (www.unllus.ac.zm).

• Send an email with your portrait attached to: id@unilus.ac.zm In order to have your Student identity Card prepared

• Students who will experience challenges with semester registration {e.g those with exemptions and others who may have deferred their studies) are advised to send copies of their proof of payment to the following email addresses so that their semester registration can be facilitated: corresoondence@unilus.ac.zm | academic@unilus.ac.zm | registrar@unllus.ac.zm

Registration Process For Freshers 

Steps for registration

1. Click on “New student registration” link below to start registration.
2. Your Quotation will appear (If student has Exemptions, registration should be done through academic office).
3. Deposit the fees at any of the banks shown on your quotation.
4. Click the printer icon on top of the quotation to print the quotation.
5. Make sure that you provide your STUDENT NUMBER to the cashier at the bank on depositing.
6. Repeat step 1 after 48 hours and click on (Click to register) on your quotation under TOTAL FEES.
7. Collect student ID card from the ID department in Room 1.
8. Create student Portal Account to view registration details

Registration Process For Returning Students 

Steps for registration (Do the following after semester results have been published)

1. Log in your student portal.
2. Under student menu Click on the first tab (july or january)Semester Registration
3. Select mode of study
4. Your Quotation will appear if you have no outstanding balance.
5. Click the printer icon on top of the quotation to print the quotation.
6. Deposit the fees at any of the banks on shown on your quotation.
7. Make sure that you provide your STUDENT NUMBER to the cashier at the bank on depositing.
8. Go back to your student portal after 48 hours and click on (Click to register)on your quotation under TOTAL FEES.

NOTE:

1. Kindly contact your School Registration Officer and Head of Department if some specific courses for registration cannot be found on your portal. In case of any difficulties in accessing your portal, kindly contact the Directorate of Academic Affairs.
2. Also, students of School of Public Health (Hohoe Campus) should contact the School Officer or the School Registration Officer for all other inquiries

Registration is open daily from 9.00 am – 4.30 pm except on weekends
