Application for the University of Education Winneba, UEW Vice-Chancellor’s Scholarship Fund for Brilliant But Needy Students – 2022/2023 Entry is now open at the University of Education Winneba.
Applications are invited from qualified undergraduate students to access the Vice-Chancellor’s Scholarship Fund (VCSF) for brilliant but needy students for the 2024 academic Year.
UEW VICE-CHANCELLOR’S SCHOLARSHIP ELIGIBILITY
To be eligible to receive the Vice-Chancellor’s Scholarship Fund (VCSF) award, the applicant must meet the following criteria:

- Be a Ghanaian as defined by the Constitution of Ghana.
- Be an undergraduate student of UEW.
- Be enrolled on a non-Full fee paying programme at the University.
- Must have strong academic ability and have a financial need. That is, the applicant must produce evidence, with documentation, that he/she has a strong academic potential but is financially handicapped to pursue higher education in UEW.
- Submit a completed Application Form for the Vice-Chancellor’s Scholarship Fund award before the announced deadline for the submission of the Form.
- The applicant must not be on a similar scholarship.
UEW VICE-CHANCELLOR’S SCHOLARSHIP APPLICATION INSTRUCTIONS
Completed application forms should be submitted to the Dean of Faculty or Principal, CODeL latest by Friday, 22nd October, 2021.
Students on Distance Education programme should submit completed application forms to the Principal of CODeL through their Study Centre Coordinators.

NOTE: All continuing students who applied for the Vice-Chancellor’s Scholarship Fund are kindly requested to submit their academic transcripts to the Office of the Registrar. The transcript should be as at the end of the 2024 academic Year. The deadline for the submission of the transcript is Friday, 25th February 2022.
SELECTION
Only shortlisted applicants will be contacted for an interview. Applicants will have ten (10) calendar days to confirm acceptance after notification of offer. After this date, it will be assumed that the student is unable to take up the scholarship. The University of Education Winneba, UEW reserves the right to refuse or end attribution of the scholarship if any information provided in support of the application is false.
