International President’s Awards Bachelor of Music in Performance Studies in USA 2023


The application for the International President’s Awards Bachelor of Music in Performance Studies for the academic year 2023/2024 is now open by Musicians Institute for all International Students in USA.  

The Musicians Institute hereby invites all outstanding students to apply for the 2023/2024 Awards. The Musicians Institute has set-up a tertiary awards to bolster capacity, expertise and work opportunities related to different sectors. It is intended for tertiary students at the Bachelor of Music in Performance Studies. The university will provide financial support for high achieving candidates. Musicians Institute will provide the award amount of $1,500 credited toward the first quarter of the program. Musicians Institute has allocated awards specifically for the following fields below.

Education creates opportunities for youth to acquire the knowledge and skills needed to participate in the economy, achieve upward mobility, and change the world for the better for all in it.

For the International President’s Awards Bachelor of Music in Performance Studies, we are looking for students who will be meeting the admission requirements and other eligibility requirements of the hosting universities stated below.


Eligible courses are: 

  • Bachelor of Music in Performance Studies

Candidate Requirements 

Eligible criteria are:

  • Domestic and international students
  • May only be applied to Bachelor of Music in Performance Studies Program, Bass, Guitar, Drums, Vocal or Keyboard students only.
  • Newly enrolling MI students and transfers from current AA programs are eligible.
  • Previous winners of this scholarship are not eligible.
  • For admission, applicants must have at least three years of study on the primary instrument (Bass, Guitar, Keyboard, Drums, or Vocal).
  • Aspirants will be asked to demonstrate a level of English language competency, regardless of nationality or country of residence.

Please note you will need to ensure all the below documents are accessible on the device (cellphone, laptop, tablet, etc.) you will be using to apply.  The documents include:

  • The requirement includes:
    • A YouTube video that must contain at a minimum: three (3) diverse songs (in any style or genre on your instrument/voice). It is required that this include two (2) ensemble (live band or duo, and/or pre-recorded play-along tracks format) performances; and one (1) unaccompanied solo (or a capella) performance (No play-along tracks will be accepted for the solo piece).


  • Completed applications need to be submitted on or before March 3rd, 2023. Late applications will not be considered.
