UJ Advanced Diploma in Logistics Application Form – 2022/2023 Intake

The University of Johannesburg is offering the Advanced Diploma in Logistics for the 2026/2027 academic year. Applications are open from 2 April 2026 to 31 October 2026.

The purpose of the Advanced Diploma in Logistics is to provide both theoretical knowledge and practical skills in the field of Logistics Management for prospective students who are currently middle managers, or aspire towards middle management, so that they can apply the principles of Logistics Management in their working environment.

To this end, the programme makes provision for the development of knowledge and applied competence related to procurement, logistics processes and practices, project management, logistics research, global supply management and quantitative techniques.

UJ ADVANCED DIPLOMA IN LOGISTICS APPLICATION PROCEDURE & ADMISSION REQUIREMENTS

Entry Requirements

The entry requirements for the Advanced Diploma in Logistics are a relevant three-year NQF Level 6 qualification with Logistics as the specialisation. Alternatively, an applicant must have completed the UJ Bridging Programme into the Advanced Diploma in Logistics.

Selection Process

  • A minimum of 60% as an average for the combined third-year modules, with a minimum final mark of 65% in the major (Logistics) is required, or
  • Completion of the UJ Bridging Programme into the Advanced Diploma in Logistics with a minimum final mark of 65% in each of the modules.

All applications will be subject to a selection process due to space constraints. The outcome of the selection process may require that an applicant complete the UJ Bridging Programme before admission can be considered.

  • Online applications are free of charge.
  • All documents submitted as part of the online application must be certified.
  • Applicants may only apply for two study choices per academic year. These study choices may not be amended once chosen.

  • Applicants transferring from another institution are required to upload a full academic record/transcript and degree/diploma certificate where applicable.

Important Information

  • Advanced Diploma qualifications are classified as undergraduate but are processed administratively as postgraduate due to previous studies involved.
