How to Apply for JKUAT Online Application 2024/2025

We are pleased and excited to announce to you that the Jomo Kenyatta University of Agriculture and Technology (JKUAT) Online Application for the 2024/2025 academic year is now open for all interested and qualified applicants. We are not just making this announcement known but also providing various steps on how to apply online for Jomo Kenyatta University of Agriculture and Technology (JKUAT) admission.

STEPS ON HOW TO APPLY ONLINE FOR JKUAT ADMISSION      

To use the Jomo Kenyatta University of Agriculture and Technology (JKUAT) online application feature, you must have a working internet device, a valid email address which is not shared with another Jomo Kenyatta University of Agriculture and Technology (JKUAT) applicant, your Kenyan identity number, or, if you are an international applicant, and your passport number. Kindly follow the easy steps below to apply online for Jomo Kenyatta University of Agriculture and Technology (JKUAT) admission:

• Step1: Click here first to confirm course requirements and intake availability.
• Step 2: Please apply online via the Jomo Kenyatta University of Agriculture and Technology (JKUAT) Application Portal if you are enrolling for Undergraduate Program.      
• Step 3: If the course that you need is available for preferred intake then proceed to application by first creating account /Sign-Up on this page
• Step 4: Upon successful creation of account, Proceed to Login on the same page with your email and password used during creation of account.
• Step 5: After login, fill in the Personal-data (Step 1), Course details (Step 2). Academic details (Step 3), supporting documents (Step 4), payments details (Step 5).
• Step 6: For you to complete your course application, you are required to pay application fees through MPESA.(Certificate:500/-; Diploma:1000/-; Degree:1,500/-; Masters:1,500/-,Post Diploma:1,500/-,Phd:1,500/-).
• Step 7: Access the M-PESA menu from your phone, Select “Lipa Na M-PESA” then Pay bill option, enter Pay bill Number (951200).
• Step 8: Enter your account number generated from the system from step 5 (payment details after login ) then enter the required amount.
• Step 9: Finally enter the exact MPESA generated code back into the system to complete your application.
• Step 10: Regularly visit this website and login to get the feedback or status of your application.

NOTE: Every application has its own account number generated per transaction. ONLY applicants who have paid the application fees will be considered.

NOTE: ALL Postgraduate applicants should apply in person from various campuses/ departments after confirming the course requirements using above procedure.

2. Acknowledgement of Application      

• You will receive an email confirming online submission of your application immediately.     
• Within three working days, you should receive formal acknowledgment of your application along with your student number and log-in details.     
• Note this acknowledgement does not mean you’ve been accepted or admitted to Jomo Kenyatta University of Agriculture and Technology (JKUAT).    

3. Upload Supporting Documents      

In order to consider your application, please upload every necessary supporting documents listed below on this article. If the application is incomplete, it may be declined by the college.    

4. Acceptance of Offer      

When we update your application, you will receive an email communication. Please monitor your email account closely for updates. You can also check your status online with the log-in credentials that we will send you after you apply. We are not permitted to disclose your application status telephonically.     

LIST OF REQUIRED DOCUMENTS FOR JKUAT ONLINE APPLICATION      

Upload certified copies of the following in PDF format when you apply for undergraduate studies:   

• Your ID if you are a Kenyan citizen   
• Your passport if you are an international student   
• Your guardian/parent’s ID or passport if you are younger than 18 years   
• High School Senior Certificate if you have already matriculated   
• Your academic record, only if you are a current student at another institution of higher learning
