Entry Requirements for Undergraduate Degree Courses

A minimum of Grade C+ at the Kenya Certificate of Secondary Examination (KCSE) or equivalent. In addition, applicants must meet specific degree requirements for each school. The entry requirement set should be regarded as the minimum, which in no way entitle an applicant to a place at the university.

Entry Requirements for Bridging Certificate

Degree applicants should have KCSE mean grade of at least C+ (plus) or equivalent. Diploma applicants should have KCSE minimum grade of C Plain or Division II in KCE or equivalent. Certificate applicants should have attained KCSE mean grade of C- (Minus) or Division III in KCE or equivalent qualification.

Entry Requirements for Diploma Programmes

Minimum entry requirements for diploma applicants: KCSE mean grade of C (Plain).

Entry requirements for a Postgraduate degree Programme

A Bachelor’s degree or its equivalent from an accredited University in a subject or subjects relevant to the course applied for.

Duration of Programme: 1 Academic Year

Entry requirements for a Masters degree Programme

A Bachelors’ degree or postgraduate diploma from an accredited University in a subject or subjects relevant to the course applied for.

Duration of Programme: 2 Academic Years

Entry requirements for a DBA or PhD degree programme

Applicants must be holders of Master’s degree or any other related programs from a recognized University. Practitioner Experience: Applicants must have management experience of at least three years pre – or – post Masters.

  1. Hello. I wish to take a course in BSc Nursing. I sat for kcse last year. My grades were MEAN GRADE B AGP 61 ENG B- KIS C MAT C+ BIO C+ CHE B HIS A CRE A BUS A. Do I qualify?
