The Kenya Accountants and Secretaries National Examinations Board (KASNEB) was established as a state corporation under the National Treasury by the Government of Kenya on 24 July 1969. The mandate of kasneb, is the development of syllabuses, conduct of professional, diploma and technician examinations and certification of candidates in accountancy, finance, credit, governance and management, information technology and related disciplines, promotion of its qualifications nationally and internationally and the accreditation of relevant training institutions in liaison with the ministry in charge of education.
HOW TO CHECK KASNEB AUGUST 2023 RESULTS ONLINE AND THROUGH SMS.
The mode of checking the result is via SMS and ONLINE. SMS (for Safaricom subscribers only).
SMS Method (Certificate & Diploma)
To access the results through SMS (Safaricom & Airtel Subscribers only), Candidates should send their registration number to 20558.(For example ATD/12**45).
The SMS service is at a premium rate of Sh. 10 per sms
SMS Method (Professional)
To access the results through SMS (Safaricom & Airtel Subscribers only), Candidates should send their registration number to 20558.(For example NAC/12**45).

Online Method
Access through ekasneb (Mobile app – Google playstore and web portal – http://online.kasneb.or.ke)
Candidates who have not yet created an account on the student portal are advised to do so in order to access their examination results. The candidates should follow the steps listed below:
- Create an account as a student using your registration number.
- Fill in the Examination, Registration Number, Date of birth and/or ID Number, Phone number and Country.
- Provide an email address and password and sign up. An activation link will shortly be sent to your email.
- Click on the activation link sent to your email to activate your account and login thereafter.
- Click on resources and select “examination results”.
Candidates who already have an account should proceed to sign in by providing their email and password.
