HOW TO ACCESS/LOGIN TO THE NMU STUDENT INFORMATION SYSTEM

  1. Open your internet browser e.g. Internet Explorer, Chrome, Firefox, etc.
  2. Go to https://www.mandela.ac.za/student/
  3. Kindly enter your student number, student PIN and date of birth in the fields provided and click the Continue button to access your NMU student record. Please make sure that you enter the full year for your birthday.
  4. Once logged in, you will be able to perform any of the academic activities.

HOW TO RECOVER YOUR NMU STUDENT PORTAL FORGOTTEN PASSWORD?

  • To reset your password, submit your username or your email address. If you are found in the database, an email will be sent to your email address, with instructions on how to get access again.
