EGERTON UNIVERSITY 47TH GRADUATION LIST FOR 2023
Egerton University, as the institution, joyfully announces its 47th Graduation Ceremony set for Friday, October 27, 2023. The event, commencing at 9:00 AM at the Njoro Campus, will honour students who have successfully completed their respective courses during the 2022/2023 academic year. All attendees, including guests, are requested to be seated by 8:30 AM.
Further information regarding preparations for the ceremony is detailed below:
1. CONFIRMATION OF EXAMINATION RESULTS
It is the responsibility of each prospective graduand to confirm his/her EXAMINATION RESULTS by contacting their respective Deans’ offices. The results are also available in the student portal.
2. PAYMENT OF GRADUATION AND ALUMNI FEES
The following are the mandatory fees for the various categories of graduands with or without the cost of hiring graduation attire.

Before the graduation day, students are required to clear any outstanding fees with the finance department. The clearing process also involves payment of graduation and alumni fees, which vary depending on the degree being conferred. Payment should be made at any Kenya Commercial Bank branch into the Egerton University Account No. 1107933919, with the student’s registration number indicated.
3. ORDER OF NAMES ON CERTIFICATE
Prospective graduands must ensure that their names are in the order in which they shall appear on the final certificate (without initials) and should be the same as in previous certificates, the admission letter, and supported by the National Identification Card. Any correction thereafter shall attract a fee.
EXAMINATION RESULTS
The results of the examinations are available from the offices of the respective deans of faculties or schools during working hours.

Any potential graduand whose name is not on the list is expected to visit his or her school immediately.
VERIFICATION OF ACADEMIC RECORDS AND ORDER OF NAMES
Candidates should verify and confirm the order of names as they are to appear on the certificate. This arrangement should be consistent with previous certificates, admission letters, and must match the details on the National Identification Card. Corrections, if any, should be submitted by Monday, 2nd October 2023.
GRADUATION ATTIRE
Graduands are expected to be in full academic regalia during the ceremony. Relevant forms should be downloaded, completed, and attire picked from the respective faculties starting Wednesday, 25th October 2023. All rented gowns should be returned by Monday, 13th November 2023 to avoid a daily penalty of Kes. 500.
PUNCTUALITY
Graduands must take seats by 8.00 am and invited guests are expected to be seated by 9.00 am.
