MOUNT KENYA UNIVERSITY 18TH GRADUATION LIST FOR 2020
Mount Kenya University, MKU will hold its 18th Virtual Graduation ceremony for 2020 on Friday, the 9th of October, 2020 by 10.00 a.m. This year’s graduation will be held virtually.
The graduation ceremony will be presided over by the University Chancellor Prof. John Struthers who will award Diplomas and Certificates and confer Degrees.

The results of the examinations are available from the offices of the respective Deans of Faculties/Schools during working hours.

Any potential graduand whose name is not on the list is expected to visit his/her School immediately.
All students aspiring to graduate are requested to ensure that they meet the requirements for graduation.
Note:
Online clearance for graduation should be done through the University Management Information System click here
Candidates whose names appear on the website should clear with Finance Office. Only candidates who will have been cleared by the University Senate and Finance Office will appear in the final list and in the graduation booklet.
Verification Of Academic Records And Order Of Names
All graduands are requested to verify their names. Any requests for changes in spelling and order of names should be done within this period at the respective campus admissions office. The Senate-approved graduands’ list will be posted above and on the University website.
Rehearsal
There shall be no rehearsals this year as the graduation will be done virtually.

Academic Attire
The collection of gowns with take place from 28th September, 2020 to 7th October, 2020. To allow for planning, kindly select your preferred centre of collection in the student portal by Tuesday, 22nd September 2020. In addition, note that the gowns should be returned by the 23rd of October, 2020.
Please follow the following procedure:
- Login to student portal
- Click information update
- Select Graduation
- Select the Campus/Centre to pick the gown from then submit
NB:
The hired graduation gowns must be returned on or before the deadline. Any delay in returning the gown will attract a daily charge of Ksh.500.
Punctuality
On the graduation day, all graduands will participate in the graduands’ procession in order of their school at 7.00 a.m.
