MOI UNIVERSITY 48TH GRADUATION LIST FOR 2025
Moi University has officially released the notice for its 48th Graduation Ceremony. This year, the ceremony is themed “A New Dawn,” symbolizing the bright beginnings awaiting the Class of 2025. According to the official communication published on 3rd October 2025, the event is scheduled to take place on Thursday, 18th December 2025, starting at 8:00 AM at the Pavilion, Main Campus (Kesses, Uasin Gishu County).
If you completed your studies during the 2024/2025 Academic Year, here is everything you need to know to ensure your name appears on the Graduation List.
Examination Results
The results of the examinations are available from the offices of the respective Deans of Faculties/Schools during working hours.
Clearance & Graduation Fees
Students who cleared and confirmed their results with their respective Deans, are the only ones to graduate. For all payments related to the PAYMENT OF CONVOCATION AND ALUMNI FEES (MANDATORY) and HIRING OF ACADEMIC DRESS (OPTIONAL) must be deposited to:
- Moi University Account Number: 01021029582000 (for GSSP students) at National Bank, Moi University Branch,
- Moi University Account Number: 01020062991100 (for PSSP students) at National Bank, Moi University Branch,
or
- MPESA Paybill No 883184 (Use your registration number for account number).

All payments must be deposited to Moi University Account Number: 01021029582000 at National Bank, Moi University Branch or MPESA Paybill No 883184 (Use your registration number for account number).
Graduands will automatically become members of the convocation upon graduation.
Graduands who wish to hire academic dress, should book online and consult their respective Deans of Schools and Campus Directors on collection points. Graduation attire should be returned. Failure to do so will attract a penalty of Ksh.500.00 per day.
List of Graduands
The Graduation List is the official record of who will walk the stage. This list is generated from the data confirmed by the Deans of Schools.
- Status:Â The provisional list is typically vetted at the faculty level.
- Final Booklet:Â Only students who have cleared their fees and verified their details by the deadline will have their names printed in the final Graduation Booklet.
Verification Of Academic Records And Order Of Names
One of the most critical steps in this process is ensuring your details are captured correctly. The name that appears on the Graduation List is exactly what will be printed on your final certificate.
Guidelines for Name Verification:
-  Confirm your FULL NAME, ORDER, and SPELLING as guided by your original Certificate of Admission.
- Your name must be the same across all your academic documents.
- You must reach out to the Dean of your School to confirm these details
Warning: Names will be read out exactly as they appear in the booklet. Errors not corrected by the deadline may appear on your permanent certificate.
Rehearsal
While the specific rehearsal date was not in the attached text, standard Moi University protocol usually requires attendance.
Graduands are typically expected to attend a rehearsal session, often held the day before the main ceremony (Wednesday, 17th December 2025) at the Graduation Pavilion. This session is crucial for understanding the flow of the event and hooding procedures. Please await further communication on the specific rehearsal schedule.
Academic Attires
Graduands who wish to hire academic attire, should book online and consult their respective Deans of  Schools and Campus Directors on collection points.
Punctuality and invitation Card
The invitation cards for Graduands and their guests will be ready for collection from the Office of the Academic Registrar.
Graduands must take seats by 7.30 am and invited guests are expected to be seated at the same time.
Picking of Certificates
The ultimate goal of graduation is the certificate!
- Certificates are generally available for collection after the ceremony, provided the graduate has returned the hired gown in good condition and has no outstanding liabilities with the university.
- Ensure your name spelling was corrected by the November 18th deadline to avoid issues during collection.
