Application for the University of Zululand Peer Educators Recruitment for 2022 Entry is now open for all outstanding South African Students who wish to work while schooling.
Applications are hereby invited for Peer Educators recruitment at University of Zululand. The Counseling Services Office invites applications from students coming from humble backgrounds for the post of peer Educators for the year 2024 academic year. The University is a public university located in South Africa.
Specificially, the University of Zululand Campus Health Clinic would like to invite UNJZULU students from all campus and off residences, and levels of studies who would like to be PEER EDUCATORS for the Programme during the 2024 academic year. Peer Educators will be required to provide accurate & current health information, facilitate group discussions, and participate in campaigns, development of information & educational material that can be cascaded to the university community.
This Programme is completely voluntary and the peers are expected to spend at least 3hours per week doing activities of the program.

Application Requirements & Eligibility
Registered Student 2022 (Preferably first and second year students,and third year for returning peers).
- Interest in healthy lifestyle practices & a good role-model
- Able to approach and speak to students and staff
- Comfortable working independently & in group
- Willing to work in a collaborative, diverse environment
Training and support will be offered to selected applicants.
