UNIVERSITY OF ZAMBIA, UNZA 49TH GRADUATION LIST AND CEREMONY
This is to inform all graduands and the general public that the first session of the 49th Graduation Ceremony of the University of Zambia will take place on Friday, 315t July 2020.
Further, be informed that it will be a virtual graduation ceremony for graduands from the Institute of Distance Education (IDE) and Graduate School of Business (GSB) only. The graduation ceremony will be broadcast live through the Zambia National Broadcasting Corporation (ZNBC). Graduands are advised to check on the official university website for the full list of graduands.
The information regarding preparations for the ceremony is detailed below:
Examination Results
The results of examinations sat in the 2022/2023 academic year will be available on the UNZA student portal as well as the offices of the respective Deans/Directors of Schools/Campuses /Institutes during working hours. Qualified candidates should confirm the inclusion of their names in the graduation list with their respective Deans/Directors.
Confirmation of the order of names
The list will be posted as soon as it is approved. Continuously keep on confirming with your Department if you have met the Graduation Requirements.
Any potential graduand whose name is not on the list is expected to visit his/her School immediately.

Send their soft copy photographs in UNZA patented academic attire to the following email addresses by 30th June 2020 :
- IDE graduating students – customercare-ide@unza.zm
- GSB graduating students- support@unza.zm or gsb@unza.zm; and
- Provide email addresses where copies of graduation videos will be forwarded
Please come through to the UNZA Customer Service Centre to have your portrait taken in preparation for Virtual Graduation for IDE, GSB and Postgraduate graduands on 31st July 2020.
