Amsterdam Science Talent Scholarship (ASTS) in Netherlands 2023


The application for the Global Health Scholarship for the academic year 2022/2023 is now open by University of Amsterdam for Non-Dutch EU/EUA Students in Netherlands.  

The University of Amsterdam hereby invites all outstanding students to apply for the 2022/2023 Scholarship. The University of Amsterdam has set-up a tertiary Scholarship to bolster capacity, expertise and work opportunities related to different sectors. It is intended for tertiary students at the Masters Degree. The university will provide financial support for high achieving candidates. Scholarship of € 5,000 for one academic year with the possibility of extension for a second year (for two-year Master’s programs). University of Amsterdam has allocated Scholarship specifically for the following fields below.

For the Amsterdam Science Talent Scholarship, we are looking for students who will be meeting the admission requirements and other eligibility requirements of the hosting universities stated below.


Eligible courses are: 

  • Bachelor’s degree program in any subject offered by the university

Candidate Requirements 

Eligible criteria are:

  • All nationalities
  • domestic and international students who will pursue their undergraduate degree program (studies in the first year of the program) at York University.
  • You have to accomplish the entry requirements of the university
  • Students have to meet the English language requirements of the university.

  • You should include a paragraph in your motivation letter in which you explain why you wish to be nominated for the Amsterdam Science Talent Scholarship, and what it would mean for your future academic career.

  • Completed applications need to be submitted on or before March 1, 2023. Late applications will not be considered.
