Law Enforcement Application 2026
We are pleased to show you the Law Enforcement Auxiliary Service (LEAS) — 2026 Application Guide
Applications open annually, and a limited number of candidates are selected each cycle. There are two volunteer roles available: a Uniform Auxiliary Law Enforcement Officer, who works in the field through patrolling, traffic direction, by-law enforcement, and emergency support; and a Non-Uniform Auxiliary Support Officer, who contributes through administrative tasks, IT support, community engagement, and crime prevention partnerships.
It is important to note upfront that this is strictly a volunteer programme. There is no financial reward or remuneration attached to the role, and participation does not create any right to or expectation of employment with the City.
