The application for the ESP Rock Guitar Scholarship for the academic year 2023/2024 is now open by Musicians Institute for all International Students and U.S in USA.
The Musicians Institute hereby invites all outstanding students to apply for the 2023/2024 Scholarship. The Musicians Institute has set-up a tertiary scholarship to bolster capacity, expertise and work opportunities related to different sectors. It is intended for tertiary students at the MI program. The university will provide financial support for high achieving candidates. The award is $5,000.00 tuition credit applied to the first two quarters (or next contiguous quarters for current students) of the program ($2,500 per quarter) and a new ESP guitar. Musicians Institute has allocated scholarship specifically for the following fields below.

For the ESP Rock Guitar Scholarship, we are looking for students who will be meeting the admission requirements and other eligibility requirements of the hosting universities stated below.

- This scholarship is available for the Associate of Arts and Bachelor of Music in Performance (Guitar) Program.
Candidate Requirements
Eligible criteria are:
- Available to international students and U.S. citizens.
- May only be applied to the Associate of Arts and Bachelor of Music in Performance (Guitar) Program. Certificate, MI Select, AS, MM or other programs are not eligible.
- Newly enrolling and currently enrolled/or returning students in any MI program are eligible.
- The awardee must maintain enrollment at 12 units (fulltime status) during the full length of the award period.

- YouTube video of you performing three (3) songs in the Rock genre on the electric and/or acoustic guitar. It is required that this include two (2) live ensemble (band or duo) performances, and one (1) unaccompanied solo performance
CLOSING DATE FOR APPLICATIONS
- Completed applications need to be submitted on or before September 1, 2023. Late applications will not be considered.
