The application for the Flinders and Nourish Ingredients Industry PhD Scholarships for the academic year 2022/2023 is now open by Flinders University for all International Students in Australia.  

The Flinders University hereby invites all outstanding students to apply for the 2022/2023 Scholarship. The Flinders University has set-up a tertiary Scholarship to bolster capacity, expertise and work opportunities related to different sectors. It is intended for tertiary students at the PhD.The award will consist of $40,000 per annum for up to 4 years of study and many other academic and professional opportunities. Flinders University has allocated Scholarship specifically for the following fields below.

For the Flinders and Nourish Ingredients Industry PhD Scholarships, we are looking for students who will be meeting the admission requirements and other eligibility requirements of the hosting universities stated below.

PHD SCHOLARSHIPS APPLICATION ELIGIBILITY 

Eligible courses are: 

  • The scholarship will be awarded for bachelor, honours or postgraduate degrees in any subject offered by the university.

Candidate Requirements 

You’re eligible if you are:

  • All international and domestic students are eligible to apply.
  • The applicants must preferably have a Master’s in Biotechnology (HD or D) with research experience in bioprocessing that involves growing microbes, fermentation, and purification of metabolites.
  • The applicants must have an Australian Honours degree Class 1 or 2A or equivalent qualification (at least AQF Level 8) or evidence of equivalent research experiences, such as refereed publications or significant experience as a lead researcher.
  • The students must submit scores of the following English language proficiency tests: IELTS – 6.5, TOEFL IBT – 80, PTE – 58, CAE – C, and Duolingo – 110.
