The application for the Sporting Excellence Awards for the academic year 2023/2024 is now open by University of Nottingham for all International Students in UK.  

Life Science and Geography

The University of Nottingham hereby invites all outstanding students to apply for the 2023/2024 Awards. The University of Nottingham has set-up a tertiary awards to bolster capacity, expertise and work opportunities related to different sectors. It is intended for tertiary students at the Any study program. The university will provide financial support for high achieving candidates. The university provides scholarships of £5,000 towards full-time tuition fees for international students at any study level with outstanding sporting ability. University of Nottingham has allocated awards specifically for the following fields below.

Education creates opportunities for youth to acquire the knowledge and skills needed to participate in the economy, achieve upward mobility, and change the world for the better for all in it.

For the Sporting Excellence Awards, we are looking for students who will be meeting the admission requirements and other eligibility requirements of the hosting universities stated below.


Eligible courses are: 

  • The scholarship will be awarded in any study program offered by the university..

Candidate Requirements 

Eligible criteria are:

  • Applications are accepted from all nationalities.
  • be of the academy, national or international standard in any sport or show strong evidence of future outstanding potential
  • be classed as an overseas student for fee purposes
  • hold an offer to start a full-time academic course in any subject area at the University of Nottingham UK in September 2023.
  • When you come to study at Nottingham, applicants need to check the entry requirements of the university.
  • If English isn’t their first language and applicants haven’t previously studied in an English-speaking country, applicants may need to provide evidence of their English language skills as part of their application.
