BET Software ICT Bursary – 2026/2027
The application for the BET Software ICT Bursary for the academic year 2026/2027 is now open by BET Software for all South Africans in South Africa.
The BET Software hereby invites all outstanding students to apply for the 2026/2027 Bursary. It is meant for students that intend to, or are currently studying towards degree and diploma programmes that are aligned to the following listed below:

BET SOFTWARE ICT BURSARY APPLICATION ELIGIBILITY
Candidates meeting the following requirements are eligible to apply:
- South African citizenship.
- Completed Matric.
- Studying or met admission to study towards a Higher Education qualification in the following ICT-related fields:
- Information Technology and Information Systems
- Computer Science
- Information Systems
- System and Network Administration
- Software Engineering
- Computer Engineering
- Cybersecurity
- Studying or registered to study at a recognised higher learning Institute in South Africa.
- Achieved a minimum overall average of 65% for the current year of study.
A BET Dare to Dream Bursary is a gift that keeps on giving! Recipients can apply for further funding for each additional year of study. Once the bursary recipients have successfully completed their studies, they will join our Graduate Programme and complete a work-back period at BET Software based on the duration of the course they studied. They also have the opportunity to further their skills development and learning, as we strongly encourage ongoing learning and development at BET Software with allocated study hours set throughout the week.
HOW TO APPLY FOR BET SOFTWARE ICT BURSARY
If you are interested in applying for a bursary, and perhaps taking your place alongside many other recipients who have gone on to become permanent and valuable members of our All-Star Team, send us the following:
- A letter of motivation stating why you’d be a worthy candidate.
- Certified ID copy of applicant.
- Your letter of acceptance from an accredited tertiary institution, indicating the full registration, tuition and examination fee, along with the course duration for both first year students and returning students – qualification and academic year to be specified.
- Statement of account and quotation from institution for returning students.
- Detailed quotation from Higher Education Institution for applicants applying as first year students.
- Certified copy of Matric results for applicants applying as first year students.
- Your academic transcripts for the previous 12 months of study.
- Proof of disability: medical/doctors’ letter (where applicable).
CLOSING DATE FOR APPLICATIONS
- Completed applications need to be submitted on or before 31 October 2026.
