This article contains information on the University of Johannesburg, UJ registration process and guidelines for the new and continuing students thereby preparing them for the semester of the 2024 academic year.
The registration is done via the ITS iEnabler, which is a self-help/online system. The system is accessible off-campus for convenience. You don’t have to stand in long queues and don’t have to come to campus. This guide will enable you to process your online registration successfully.
Follow the steps that are provided to make this process an easy an the exciting process.
UJ REGISTRATION GUIDELINES AND PORTAL
- Log onto the registration portal which is also the UJ Student Portal using your STUDENT NUMBER and PASSWORD.
- If you do not have a password, click on CREATE A PASSWORD to continue.
- Click on ITS iENABLER under administrative utilities.
- Click on ONLINE REGISTRATION AND PAYMENT and then REGISTRATION to start the registration process.
- Detailed instruction of how to use each option can be accessed by clicking on the blue question mark at each process.
- Work your way through all the processes listed on the left.
- Please verify your contact details
- Read the Academic Registration Rules or Agreement and click on I ACCEPT to be able to continue with Online Registration.
- Click on Cheque and Credit card payment to make a payment (no debit card payments accepted).
- Click on SUBMIT REGISTRATION to confirm your qualification to be registered for.
- Enter your EMPLOYMENT STATUS and select whether you are responsible for your own account. If not supply the third party information requested.
- Click on SAVE AND CONTINUE.
- Select your combination of modules to be taken and click on SAVE AND PROCEED.
- Verify the modules you plan to Register for and click on CONTINUE.
- Verify your Registration Cost and click on ACCEPT REGISTRATION.
- Print your PROOF OF REGISTRATION.
- You can now log into uLink and select BLACKBOARD.
- You will have immediate access to the ONLINE ORIENTATION module that contains all information pertaining to your fully online module.
- You will also be given access to your registered module 3 days before commencement (on the Friday); giving you access to all you reading and study materials for downloading/saving/printing.
- The module will officially open on the Monday for participation in activities and assignments, etc.
Online registration for second semester modules is open. Please note the 2020 second semester registration is only for returning students, i.e. those who have modules to complete. There is no second semester intake for new students.
