The application for the University Of Ghana Sport Fund Scholarship for the academic year 2022/2023 is now open by University Of Ghana for all South Africans in South Africa.
The University Of Ghana hereby invites all outstanding students to apply for the 2022/2023 Scholarship. It is meant for students that intend to, or are currently studying towards degree and diploma programmes that are aligned to the following listed below:

UNIVERSITY OF GHANA SPORT FUND SCHOLARSHIP APPLICATION ELIGIBILITY
The scholarship is awarded on an annual basis and is available to undergraduate students ONLY, both fresh and continuing students.
Eligibility Criteria
- Be an admitted student athlete of University of Ghana with enormous talent
- Demonstrate financial need
HOW TO APPLY FOR UNIVERSITY OF GHANA SPORT FUND SCHOLARSHIP
Download the application form attached to this mail and fill all portions applicable to you. Attach all supporting documents to the application form and submit to the Sports Directorate by mail or hand delivered.
All hard copies should be addressed as stated below:
- The Director of Sports
- University of Ghana
- Legon
Or electronically through sports@ug.edu.gh with the subject University of Ghana Sport Fund Scholarship Application 2024 Academic Year.
Only shortlisted applicants will be contact for interview. Successful student athletes will be notified by the Sports Directorate.
Required Supporting Documents
- Certificates awarded to you in previous sports competitions
- Academic records
- Any other supporting documents that you believe will assist in the processing of your application.
CLOSING DATE FOR APPLICATIONS
- Completed applications need to be submitted on or before 29/10/2021.
