The application for the Mangosuthu University of Technology, MUT Bursary for the year 2021 is now open for all South African students in South Africa.
The MUT Financial Aid Office (Step 6) is looking for students under the following categories:-
- CATEGORY A – students with historical debt who are eligible to graduate with a maximum historical debt of R 70 000,00.
- CATERGORY B – Final year students with an outstanding debt to a maximum of R 70 000,00 including current year’s fees.
The Mangosuthu University of Technology, MUT Bursary programme assists by supporting financially deserving students with great academic potential to take their first steps in achieving their dreams and obtaining their first undergraduate degree. Mangosuthu University of Technology, MUT Bursary programme aims to fund academically deserving students who do not have the financial means to study full-time towards a first undergraduate degree or diploma at the Mangosuthu University of Technology, MUT.

HOW TO APPLY FOR MANGOSUTHU UNIVERSITY OF TECHNOLOGY BURSARY AND ITS ELIGIBILITY
STUDENTS SHOULD MEET THE FOLLOWING CRITERIA
- Academically deserving
- Missing middle or poor students (NON NSFAS students) with no other bursary funding available for their tuition
- Unemployed South African citizens aged between 18 and 35.
STUDENTS SHOULD BE/HAVE BEEN ENROLLED FOR THE FOLLOWING QUALIFICATIONS
- Financial Accounting
- Financial Management
- Human Resources Management
- Marketing
- Information Technology
- Office Technology
FOLLOWING DOCUMENTS ARE REQUIRED
- Certified copy of ID
- Certified copy of highest qualification
- Fee statement
- Academic record
CLOSING DATE FOR APPLICATIONS
The MUT bursary application closing date is 20 May 2021. The number is limited and the bursary will be awarded on a first come first served basis
