Student Union Awards in Canada 2023


The application for the Student Union Awards for the academic year 2022/2023 is now open by Confederation College for all International Students in Canada.  

The Confederation College hereby invites all outstanding students to apply for the 2022/2023 Awards. The Confederation College has set-up a tertiary awards to bolster capacity, expertise and work opportunities related to different sectors. It is intended for tertiary students at the Undergraduate or Graduate. Two selected students will be presented with this award and will be provided $500 by Confederation College as a contribution towards their study costs. Confederation College has allocated awards specifically for the following fields below. 

The Confederation College and its community believe in the potential of youth. We believe that access to education should not be dependent on wealth. Education creates opportunities for youth to acquire the knowledge and skills needed to participate in the economy, achieve upward mobility, and change the world for the better for all in it.

For the Student Union Awards, we are looking for students who will be meeting the admission requirements and other eligibility requirements of the hosting universities stated below.


Eligible courses: 

  • Students can apply to take up any degree programme offered at Confederation College in any preferred discipline.

Candidate Requirements 

The eligible criteria are:

  • All foreign national students are eligible to apply.
  • The applicants must be international students admitted at Confederation College in the degree programme they have applied to.
  • Students that are applying to CC are required to have a minimum of a Grade 12 College or University level English, and with a minimum of 2 senior credits at the college or university preparation level and meet the course requirements.
  • The students must submit scores of the following English language proficiency tests: IELTS – 6.0 to 6.5, TOEFL IBT – 79 to 88, PTE – 54 to 60, Duolingo – 105 to 125, CAEL – 60 to 70, and EAP – 65% to 75%.

  • The requirement includes:
    • Copy of high school or college/university
    • Copy of passport
    • Immunization and medical records
    • Identification other than your passport Credit card
    • Reference letters from your employers, if applicable


  • Completed applications need to be submitted on or before February 1st, 2023. Late applications will not be considered.
