The shortlist for the Ministry of Technology and Science (MoTS) TEVET Bursary for the academic year 2023/2024 is and will now open be made accessible by the Ministry of Technology and Science (MoTS). The bursary application ended last year 5th December 2022 and received a handful of applicants but unfortunately only those with qualifying eligibility will be picked.
The Ministry of Technology and Science (MoTS) hereby wishes to inform all outstanding students that applied for the 2023/2024 TEVET Bursary that the list of those successful will be released soon. This bursary as stated in the bursary advert, has always been meant for candidates studying towards an academic program in an accredited tertiary institution.
As a reminder, the bursary funds academic studies that pertain to a current academic year of registration. The bursary award expressly excludes any fees or costs associated with previous study loans or tuition expenses.
Update: How to Apply for the 2023 MoTS TEVET Students Bursary
MOTS TEVET STUDENT BURSARY LIST OF SUCCESSFUL CANDIDATES
- This serves to inform the general public that the Ministry of Technology and Science through the Department of Vocational Education and Training has awarded a total of 8,813 out of 10,213 eligible applicants TEVET Bursaries at 100% sponsorship within twenty-nine training (29) institutions for the 2023/2024 academic session, representing 86% of applicants awarded.
- Applicants can check their portals by navigating to the Track Applications section to view the status of their application.
Further details on the breakdown of the 100% award will be provided to the institutions within the course of next week.
In addition, the Ministry will communicate to all successful and unsuccessful applicants via sms during the course of next week.
NOTE: Beware of some unscrupulous individuals purporting to be officers under the Ministry and TEVET institutions requesting for payments in exchange for the award. Please report to any nearest TEVET institution or the Ministry of Science and Technology Head Quarters for any further enquiries.
