The application for the ZCAS University Semester 1 Bursary for the academic year 2022/2023 is now open by the ZCAS University for all Zambian students in Zambia.
The ZCAS University hereby invites all outstanding students to apply for the 2024/2025 Semester 1 Bursary. It is meant for students that intend to, or are currently studying towards diploma programmes that are aligned to the following listed below.
The bursary funds academic studies that pertain to a current academic year of registration. The bursary award expressly excludes any fees or costs associated with previous study loans or tuition expenses.
The ZCAS University Scholarship Committee invites eligible continuing students and prospec tive students to submit their scholarship applications for first semester 2022. The scholarship application together with the relevant qualifications should reach the Student Administration office not later than 14th February 2022.
ZCAS SEMESTER 1 STUDENT BURSARY APPLICATION ELIGIBILITY
First time applicants:
- Undergraduate programmes: the candidate must have a minimum school certificate with distinctions in five subjects relevant to the programme applied for_
- Postgraduate programmes: the applicant should have graduated with at least a merit and the qualification should be relevant to the programme applied for at ZCAS Univer sity.
Returning students already in ZCAS University programmes
The candidate should have:
- At least cleared all the courses sat for and obtained the following grades:
- 3 distinctions {A+ and/or A) out of the 4 or 5 courses sat for in December 2021 examinations (applicable to full time; part time & distance students)
- 2 distinctions (A+ and/or A) out of the 3 courses sat for in December 2021 exami nations (applicable to part time and distance students)
- A record of class attendance above 90%;
- Have written and submitted all assignments, tests and mocks whether these were part of continuous assessment or not; and
- Be well disciplined and of good character
HOW TO APPLY FOR ZCAS SEMESTER 1 STUDENT BURSARY
Applicants are advised to submit their results for the last examination diet, in this case the November/December 2021 results. Note that scholarship application together with relevant documents should be submitted in hard copies.
Scholarship application forms can be obtained from the Student Administration office, Room 42, Levy Mwanawasa building or can be downloaded from the ZCAS website.
CLOSING DATE FOR APPLICATIONS
- Closing date for receiving applications is 14th February 2022.
Kindly note that the College does not handle bursary applications and all applications are to be made online directly to the Ministry of Technology and Science.
