The application for the University of the Western Cape (UWC) Garden Cities Bursary for the academic year 2022/2023 is now open by University of the Western Cape (UWC) for all South Africans in South Africa.
The University of the Western Cape (UWC) hereby invites all outstanding students to apply for the 2022/2023 Bursary. It is meant for students that intend to, or are currently studying towards degree and diploma programmes that are aligned to the following listed below:
- B. Pharmacy
- Bsc Biodiversity & Conservation Biology
- BSc Physiotherapy
- BSc Biotechnology
- BCom Finance
- BCom Gen
- Accounting

UNIVERSITY OF THE WESTERN CAPE (UWC) GARDEN CITIES BURSARY APPLICATION ELIGIBILITY
The Garden Cities Bursary is available to:
- South African Citizens and preferably be from the Western Cape;
- Students who have NOT applied for any other bursary, for example the ETDP SETA bursary, NSFAS etc.
- Students under 26 years old, as a first-time candidate.
- Students registered 2nd, 3rd, Final and Honours Years.
- Students from households whose combined income is between R350 000 – R600 000.
HOW TO APPLY FOR UNIVERSITY OF THE WESTERN CAPE (UWC) GARDEN CITIES BURSARY
Application form to be emailed to Mr Ebrain Johnson at ejohnson@uwc.ac.za before or on Friday, 18 February 2022.
All the supporting documentation must be certified.
CLOSING DATE FOR APPLICATIONS
- Completed applications need to be submitted on or before 18 February 2022. Late applications will not be considered.
