Requirements & Eligibility

Basic eligibility

• Must be a South African citizen.
• Minimum Bachelor’s degree / Advanced Diploma (NQF 7 or higher) in any of the following:
  • Business Administration (BCom)
  • Supply Chain Management
  • Transport & Logistics
  • Procurement
  • Operations Management
  • Accounting or Finance
  • Postgraduate business qualification (advantageous).
• Minimum average grade: 65% or higher.
• Driver’s licence & own transport: advantageous.

Attributes & soft skills

• Strong analytical and problem-solving ability, particularly in data analysis and reporting.
• Professional, ethical, and proactive — able to work independently and in teams.
• Curious, adaptive, and willing to learn in a fast-moving procurement environment.
• Positive attitude and high integrity, especially in handling confidential information.

Salary / Benefits

• This is a paid graduate program; compensation is typically aligned with Unitrans’ graduate development stipend range.
• Estimated graduate stipends in similar Unitrans programs: R10 000 – R15 000 per month (based on role and qualification).
• Additional benefits may include learning workshops, mentorship, and performance-based development opportunities.
