1. Team Leader Production (ASSP Line)

Requirements & Eligibility

Educational Qualifications

• National Diploma or NQF Level 6 in Production/Operations Management, Mechanical/Electrical Engineering, Food Technology, or a related discipline (Essential).
• Degree Advantageous: BTech/BSc in Engineering, Industrial Engineering, or a related field.

Experience

• Qualified Artisan (essential).
• Minimum 3 years’ experience in a high-volume FMCG (Fast-Moving Consumer Goods) manufacturing or bottling environment.
• Demonstrated experience with automated production lines, high-speed packaging systems, and production processes.
• Proven knowledge of GMP, HACCP, Food Safety, and Coca-Cola KORE processes.

Core Skills & Competencies

• Strong understanding of ISO, HACCP, SHEQ, and Food Safety systems.
• Working knowledge of TPM, Lean Manufacturing, and Continuous Improvement tools.
• Strong analytical and root-cause problem-solving skills (DMAIC, 5 Whys, etc.).
• Hands-on experience with KHS Plasmax Technology, including:
  • KHS InnoPet Plasmax 12D
  • KHS Corpoplast – FreshSafePET
  • KHS PlasMax 20Q / Latest Technology
• Proficient in Microsoft Excel and production ERP systems.
• Excellent leadership, coaching, and conflict resolution ability.

Possible Salary

• Industry Benchmark:
  Coca-Cola Beverages South Africa does not publicly publish pay scales per post.
  However, based on South African FMCG market data:
  • Typical Range: R450,000 – R650,000 per annum (pro-rata for fixed-term).
  • Includes basic pay, production allowances, and shift benefits (depending on site and experience).
• Actual offer will depend on the candidate’s qualifications, production technology exposure (especially KHS), and shift leadership experience.
