Requirements & Eligibility

Essential Qualifications & Experience

  • Matric / Grade 12 (minimum requirement).
  • Minimum 2 years’ sales experience in the logistics industry (non-negotiable).
  • Proven track record of successful sales achievements (proof required).
  • Valid driver’s licence and own reliable vehicle.
  • Demonstrated experience with:
    • Achieving and exceeding sales targets.
    • Prospecting and developing new business leads.
    • CRM systems and pipeline management.
    • Preparing and delivering client presentations and tenders.

Technical Skills

  • Microsoft Office Suite (Word, Excel, PowerPoint) – Essential.
  • Strong negotiation, presentation, and interpersonal skills.
  • Excellent verbal and written communication.
  • Experience researching potential clients and managing customer relationships.

Advantageous Qualifications

  • Post-matric qualification or diploma in Sales / Marketing / Logistics.
  • Training in Advanced Selling Techniques or Key Account Management.
  • Time management, adaptability, and creativity in solving client challenges.
Salary Range (Market Estimate)

  • Visit:  https://www.dsv.com/en/careers
  • Click “Search and Apply” and locate “Sales Representative, New Business – Road Logistics (Durban)”.
  • Alternatively, filter by Location: South Africa – Durban or Business Unit: Road Logistics.

Step 3 — Apply Online

  • Select the role and click “Apply Now”.
