1. Organisational Development Specialist (x2)

Requirements & Eligibility

Minimum Qualifications

  • Bachelor’s Degree in Industrial Psychology or related field (NQF Level 7).
  • Registration as an Industrial Psychologist – advantageous.
  • Postgraduate qualification majoring in HRD, OD, Industrial Psychology, or a related field – advantageous.

Experience

  • Minimum of 3 years’ experience in Organisational Development / Effectiveness.
  • At least 2 years’ experience in a Human Resources management role (added advantage).
  • Proven experience in:
    • Performance and Talent Management.
    • Designing and implementing Change Management frameworks.
    • Organisational Design and Competency Framework development.
    • Facilitating Leadership Development and Behavioural Change interventions.
    • Coaching, counselling, and mentoring processes within large organisations.

Knowledge & Core Competencies

  • Deep understanding of Emotive, Behavioural, and Leadership Development processes.
  • Practical exposure to relationship building, facilitation, mediation, and arbitration.
  • Strong stakeholder management and change management capability.
  • Excellent analytical, facilitation, and problem-solving skills.
  • High emotional intelligence, adaptability, and cultural sensitivity.
  • Knowledge of the public broadcasting / media sector is an advantage.

Salary Range (Market Estimate)

(Note: SABC’s internal scales are not publicly disclosed; estimate based on Paterson D1 benchmark in national broadcasters.)

  • Paterson D1 / PEOMNES 7 indicative package: R750,000 – R980,000 per annum (Total Cost to Company)
    (inclusive of benefits, subject to experience and internal HR scales).
