Requirements & Eligibility
Minimum Educational Qualification
- Grade 12 (Matric) certificate.
- National Diploma in Finance or related field (Essential).
Key Competencies
- Solid knowledge of Accounting and Basic Accounting System (BAS).
- Working knowledge of SAP-HIS.
- Understanding of Public Finance Management Act (PFMA) and Treasury Regulations.
- Computer literacy (MS Excel, spreadsheets, numeracy).
- Good communication and customer service skills.
- Telephone etiquette and professional conduct in client liaison.
Desirable Attributes
- High accuracy, time management, and teamwork.
- Ability to operate in a fast-paced hospital financial environment.
- Knowledge of ICD-10 Codes, IOD, RAF, Defence, SAPS, and Correctional Services invoicing.
Possible Salary
- Package: R 228,321 per annum, plus standard government benefits (medical aid, pension, housing allowance, etc.).
- Salary Level: Level 5 (Clerk, Public Service Act).
