1. Sales Executive – New Vehicles

Requirements & Eligibility

Minimum Qualification:

  • Matric (Grade 12) – essential.
  • A Bachelor’s Degree or Diploma in Sales, Marketing, or Business Administration (preferred).

Experience:

  • Proven experience in automotive or new vehicle sales.
  • Demonstrated success meeting or exceeding monthly and quarterly sales targets.
  • Familiarity with vehicle financing, insurance, and dealership sales processes.

Key Skills & Competencies:

  • Excellent verbal and written communication skills.
  • Strong negotiation and interpersonal skills.
  • Customer service-driven with ability to build lasting relationships.
  • Good understanding of new vehicle technologies, trims, and feature sets.
  • Self-motivated, target-oriented, and confident in closing deals.
  • Computer literacy (CRM systems, Microsoft Office).
  • Valid South African Driver’s Licence (essential).

Personal Attributes:

  • Passion for cars and new technology.
  • Confident, energetic, and professional appearance.
  • Able to work weekends and extended dealership hours when required.
Salary (Market Estimate)
  • Base salary: Typically between R12,000 – R18,000 per month (depending on dealership policy and experience).
  • Commission structure: Lucrative — monthly commissions on vehicle sales, accessories, and finance products.
  • Total potential earnings: Average R25,000 – R45,000+ per month, depending on sales volume.
  • Additional benefits: Company car allowance or demo vehicle (optional), fuel allowance, pension/provident fund, and medical aid (based on dealership policy).
