Possible salary (how to present it in the advert)
  • Benchmark guidance (for applicants and hiring managers who want a realistic range): senior EE/DEI Manager roles in South Africa typically benchmark between ~R450,000 and R950,000 p.a. total package depending on sector, responsibility and seniority. (Example sources: PayScale average for equity management ~R490k/yr; SalaryExpert DEI/Manager estimates ~R750k/yr; some agency adverts show monthly packages ~R60k–R80k). Use these only as broad guidance — UJ’s “market related” offer will be influenced by internal grade and candidate seniority.

Application Deadline

  • Applications should reach the University of Johannesburg (UJ) Management on time. As it is indicated for each position of interest above.
