UNIVERSITY OF FORT HARE SCHOOL FEES STRUCTURE FOR UNDERGRADUATE PROGRAMMES (INTERNATIONAL STUDENT)
International Students’ Fee Structure
Before any student is permitted to register at the University, the University requires such a student to make a Minimum Initial Payment (MIP) towards
- Tuition: R3 500
- Foreign Levy: Non SADC: R3500
- Foreign Levy: SADC: R1500
The balance owing after the payment of the minimal initial payment (MIP) must be settled as follows:
- By the end of the first quarter (lectures end)
- By the end of the second quarter (lectures end)
- By the end of the third quarter (lectures end)
Average Cost of study – Alice Campus (cost excludes application fees, handouts, books and foreign levy.)
Average Cost of study – East London Campus (cost excludes application fees, handouts, books and foreign levy.)
- Students from Southern African Development Community (SADC) countries pay the same tuition fees as South African students.
- Students from the rest of Africa, outside the SADC region, pay tuition fees that enable the University to cover the subsidy that is normally paid per student by the South African Government:
