We are pleased to announce that the application for the 2025 AFHCO Bursary is now open.
AFHCO offers a R50,000 educational bursary to eligible tenants or dependents of tenants residing in AFHCO properties. The bursary supports studies at accredited South African tertiary institutions aligned with SAQA (South African Qualifications Authority) standards. The bursary is non-transferable and paid directly to the institution. Applications are open from 1 February 2023 to 28 February 2024, with winners selected via an audited random draw in March 2025.
How to Apply
Eligibility Check:

- Must be an AFHCO tenant or dependent.
- Course must be minimum 12 months at an accredited institution.
- Minimum Grade 11/12 completion with valid transcripts.
Required Documents:

- Certified copy of SA ID/passport.
Academic records:

- Final Grade 11 transcript (if Grade 12 is incomplete).
- Grade 12 results and National Senior Certificate.
- Recent academic transcripts (for current students).
- Motivation letter: Explain financial need and study plans.
- Testimonial letter from teacher/lecturer/principal.
