Application is now open for the 2023 FEMEF Mike Ilsley Memorial Scholarships by Mike Ilsley, the FEM Education Foundation NPC (FEMEF). It also includes steps on how to apply, but you must meet the criteria before applying.
In honor of Mike Ilsley, the FEM Education Foundation NPC (FEMEF) has established the Mike Ilsley Memorial Scholarship to support an undergraduate student in the field of accounting. This scholarship is a way to remember Mike and his dedication to education and ethical leadership.
This unique opportunity is now open for applications for studies in the 2025 academic year to all who are eligible.
FEMEF MIKE ILSLEY MEMORIAL SCHOLARSHIPS ELIGIBILITY
Applicants must:
- Be a South African citizen;
- Studying towards becoming a Chartered Accountant (CA(SA)).
- Be a first, or second-year student enrolled at a South African university for an undergraduate degree that is SAICA accredited;
- Have an academic average of 70% for 2022, and at least 70% for Financial Accounting;
- Gross Household Income of no more than R25,000 per month.
Additional recommendations:
- Embraces a strong value system and a sense of responsibility
- Demonstrate leadership qualities
- Actively involved in community service
