The application for the Gauteng Social Development Department Bursary for the academic year 2022/2023 is now open by Gauteng Social Development Department for all South Africans in South Africa.
The Gauteng Social Development Department hereby invites all outstanding students to apply for the 2022/2023 Bursary. The Gauteng Social Development Department has set-up a tertiary bursary fund to bolster capacity, expertise and work opportunities related to the finance sector. It is intended for tertiary students at the undergraduate level. Gauteng Social Development Department has allocated a bursary fund specifically for the following fields below.

GAUTENG SOCIAL DEVELOPMENT DEPARTMENT BURSARY APPLICATION ELIGIBILITY
Eligible courses are:
- Community Development
- Financial Management
- Demography and Population Studies
- Clinical Psychology
- Occupational Therapy
Candidate Requirements
- Permanent residents within the Gauteng Province for at least one-year prior to application
- South African citizen
- Currently studying or intend on studying full-time in one of the listed fields
- Accepted to study at a recognized tertiary institution
Youth from all race and gender groups, youth leaving child and youth care facilities as well as youth with disabilities who meet the minimum entry requirements are encouraged to apply.

- Completed applications need to be submitted on or before 28th October 2022. Late applications will not be considered.
