This is to inform all the prospective candidates offered provisional admission or probably seeking admission into the University of the Free State (UFS) for 2025 academic session that the management of the institution has released the amount they are required to pay as fees for application form and registration (when given admission). We specifically publish this information here today, for all people who need to know the current Application as well as the registration fees of UFS. Please note that if you have applied for admission to the University of the Free State or if you are already a student, it is advised that you know the current registration fees for all students, and this knowledge will help you, avoiding making mistakes that will cost you your admission.

You do not have to pay an application fee. Application is totally free.
UFS Registration Fees
- Please as at the time of the publication of this post, the University of the Free State (UFS) do not charge any fee for registration.
- Students are only required to make an initial payment towards the total cost of their tuition fees & student accommodation.
