This is information containing the University of South Africa, UNISA Application Fees: 2025/2026. Authority of the institution has released the amount payable as application and registration fees for undergraduate for the new academic session.
This is to inform all the prospective candidates offered provisional admission or probably seeking admission into the University of South Africa (UNISA) for 2025 academic session that the management of the institution has released the amount they are required to pay as fees for application form and registration (when given admission). We specifically publish this information here today, for all people who need to know the current UNISA Application fees as well as the registration fees. Please note that if you have applied for admission to the University of South Africa or if you are already a student, it is advised that you know the current UNISA registration fees for all students, and this knowledge will help you, avoiding making mistakes that will cost you your admission.

UNISA APPLICATION AND REGISTRATION FEES FOR UNDERGRADUATE AND POSTGRADUATE PROGRAMMES
UNISA Application fees
- R120 for online applications
- R160 for hard copy applications (hard copy applications will only be considered in exceptional cases)
- Use the student number you received from Unisa AND the application fee reference number (i.e. STUDENTNUMBER 5370810030)
- Visit www.unisa.ac.za/paymentinfo for banking details and payment information.
This fee is non-refundable even if you decide not to study through Unisa, do not qualify for admission to Unisa or cannot be offered a space due to limited spaces available. Unisa does not accept cash at any of its offices.
The due date for the application fee is the closing date for the application period. Any application submitted without an application fee paid on time will not be processed. Please ensure that you keep a copy of your proof of payment.

UNISA Registration Fees
- Please, as at the time of the publication of this post, the University of South Africa (UNISA) do not charge any fee for registration.
- Students are only required to make an initial payment towards the total cost of their tuition fees & student accommodation.
