1. BSc (Hons) in Computing Admission Requirements
  • Applicants are expected to have successfully completed secondary schooling. The typical entry requirement is LGCSE (in Lesotho) or other equivalent secondary school qualification. Candidates are required to achieve a minimum grade of ‘D’ in five subjects.
  • Applicants must have 10 points in English and Mathematics combined or 32 points in the top 5 subjects.
  • Applicants in possession of a Diploma or Higher Diploma in a related field may be given exemptions based on the credit point equivalency.
2. BSc (Hons) in Mobile Computing Admission Requirements
  • Applicants are expected to have successfully completed secondary schooling. The typical entry requirement is LGCSE (in Lesotho) or other equivalent secondary school qualification. Candidates are required to achieve a minimum grade of ‘D’ in five subjects.
  • Applicants must have 10 points in English and Mathematics combined or 32 points in the top 5 subjects.

3. BSc (Hons) in Health Information Management Admission Requirements
  • Applicants are expected to have successfully completed secondary schooling. The typical entry requirement is LGCSE (in Lesotho) or other equivalent secondary school qualification. Candidates are required to achieve a minimum grade of ‘D’ in five subjects.
  • Applicants must have 10 points in English and Mathematics combined or 32 points in the top 5 subjects.
  • Applicants must have a pass in Biology or Human and Social Biology or Life Sciences.
  • Applicants in possession of a Diploma or Higher Diploma in a related field may be given exemptions based on the credit point equivalency
4. BSc (Hons) in Accounting Admission Requirements
  • Applicants are expected to have successfully completed secondary schooling. The typical entry requirement is LGCSE (in Lesotho) or other equivalent secondary school qualification. Candidates are required to achieve a minimum grade of ‘D’ in five subjects.
  • Applicants must have 10 points in English and Mathematics combined or 32 points in the top 5 subjects.

  • Applicants are expected to have successfully completed secondary schooling. The typical entry requirement is LGCSE (in Lesotho) or other equivalent secondary school qualification. Candidates are required to achieve a minimum grade of ‘D’ in five subjects.
  • Applicants must have 10 points in English and Mathematics combined or 32 points in the top 5 subjects.
  • Applicants must have a minimum grade of ‘C’ in Mathematics and ‘D’ in English.

6. LePAP-Lesotho Professional Accounting Admission Requirements
  • Applicants should have Lesotho General Certificate of Secondary Education (LGCSE) or equivalent with six (6) subjects and at least a credit in Mathematics and a pass (D) in English.
  • A 2-year relevant diploma accredited by CHE and approved by LIA
  •  ‘A’ Level with 2 passes one of which must be in Maths
  •  Non – relevant degrees
7. BSc (Hons) in Finance Admission Requirements
  • Applicants are expected to have successfully completed secondary schooling. The typical entry requirement is LGCSE (in Lesotho) or other equivalent secondary school qualification. Candidates are required to achieve a minimum grade of ‘D’ in five subjects.
  • Applicants must have 10 points in English and Mathematics combined or 32 points in the top 5 subjects.
  • Applicants must have a minimum grade of ‘C’ in Mathematics and ‘D’ in English.

How to calculate points

The admission point system is used to measure your academic achievement based on your school-leaving results. Your school leaving subject grades or percentages are converted into points as per the table below and based on your qualification. These points are added up to arrive at the number of points you have obtained.
