The management of the Central University of Technology (CUT) has opened the student registration portal for fresh and continuing students to register their courses for the semester, both at the diploma, undergraduate, and postgraduate levels. Specific dates and deadlines have been set for the registration as well as the closure of the registration portal. It is advisable to register early in order not to lose your studentship at CUT, as late registration will not be permitted.
The registration deadline or closing date is always a registration submission timeline that is set by the institution for registering courses and modules for the semester. South African schools (universities and colleges) usually have their submission deadline within 2 weeks to 1 month after the student registration portal is opened.
Therefore, it is expected for all CUT students (both new and old) to meet the stated registration timeline as stated below to be on the safe side.
CENTRAL UNIVERSITY OF TECHNOLOGY (CUT) REGISTRATION TIMELINES AND DEADLINE
Applicants are required to take note of the registration dates below:
- Registration for all first-year and returning postgraduate students will take place online from 25-27 January and on 30 January.
Registration for senior students (from second year undergraduate including continuing and returning master’s and doctoral students) opens on these dates:
- Faculty of Engineering, Built Environment and IT: 1 February
- Faculty of Health and Environmental Sciences: 2 February
- Faculty of Management Sciences: 3 February
- Faculty of Humanities: 6 February
Registration for all students will close on February 10, 2023.
