This article contains information on the Lovedale TVET College accommodation allowance for all continuing students for the 2025 academic year.
Education doesn’t only revolves around studying. There are certain things to be put into consideration which are transport and accommodation. That’s where finances come into place called allowances. Fortunately, the institution has decided to provide allowances for student in need of accommodation but based on eligibility.
All students who require an accommodation allowance need to apply with the necessary documents. The allowances are given automatically to all newly funded recipients unless they require accommodation allowances.
ELIGIBILITY FOR ACCOMMODATION ALLOWANCES
APPLICATIONS FOR ACCOMMODATION ALLOWANCES ARE OPEN TO:
Continuing students who have progressed to the next level whose home address is more than 40kms from campus of study.
REQUIRED DOCUMENTATION:
- Certified ID Copy (2 hostel)
- Copy of results (allocation based on academic performance criteria)
- Proof of home address
- Lease agreement
- Copy of current landlord’s ID
APPLICATION DATES:
- 14 – 28 February 2022
Who does NOT need to apply?
- All NEWLY FUNDED students.
- FUNDED continuing students with home address of less than 40kms from the campus of study.
The above-mentioned students will be eligible for travel allowance, and thus need not apply for accommodation allowances.
NOTE: Application DOES NOT guarantee AWARDING.
Allocation & awarding of allowances is done based on the AVAILABLE ALLOWANCE BUDGET.
